Description
Origin Espresso Blend, previously known as Original Blend, was the first espresso blend we created at Northside Coffee Roasters. It was built from years of working with coffee and a simple idea: make a genuinely good, crowd-pleasing coffee that people want to drink every day.
 
We combine coffees from Brazil and Colombia, two origins chosen for the different qualities they bring to the cup. The Brazilian component gives the blend its low-acidity, chocolate-led sweetness and smooth character, while the higher-grown Colombian coffee adds sweeter acidity, fruit character and body.
 
What to expect in the cup
A balanced, chocolate-and-caramel espresso with a creamy body. It works especially well in flat whites, cappuccinos and lattes, while remaining smooth enough to enjoy as a straight espresso or longer black coffee.
 
Is this coffee right for you?
Choose Origin if you want an approachable everyday coffee rather than a highly fruity or unusual specialty profile. It is our go-to recommendation for home espresso, bean-to-cup machines and milk-based coffees.
